The author reworks some of the ideas expressed by authors traditionalists as Guenon and Evola, trying to reconcile elements of the Celtic myth of the Grail with the Christian tradition. Interesting interpretation of certain symbols such as allegorical forms of inner transformation accomplished by man himself. For example, sleep is understood "as an overcoming of waking consciousness and also the common dream consciousness derived from sensory impressions to access the true "sleep of the mind", ie the state of initiation dell'excessus mindset '(p. 33). But Polia lets out a combination with shamans that reveals, in this case, some confusion with elements of traditional anti-traditional. Perhaps the author did not read carefully Guenon, who in the Kingdom of Quantity and the Signs of the Times clearly expresses his views on shamanism, "there is no doubt that this is something that, at least in its origins, was a traditional form of regular and normal on the other hand has been preserved in "shamanism", until the present time, a certain "transmission" of the powers necessary for the exercise functions of the "shaman", but when it is noted that these devoted his activities mainly to lower traditional sciences such as magic and divination, it is relatively easy to suspect that degeneration must have occurred very real, and one wonders if it has not even push to become a real SD '(p. 177).
